The Opait Report Miner has several components which work together to allow simple definition and extraction of many types of data elements from PFD documents.

The application programing interface (API) of the report minor allows automation and further processing of data extracted by the Report Miner processing engine. This enables seamless integration into processes that need the data from the Report Miner for further analysis and implementation of a specific business logic.

This document describes the design and components of the API and provides guideline on how to use the available functions to further enhance the capabilities of the Report Miner.
